RECYCLING NEWS: The District Council’s report in Hurst Life tells us that more than 2,000 tonnes of food waste have been recycled in Mid Sussex in four months which is excellent news. I particularly like the statistic that this is equivalent in weight to 450 African elephants! The district’s overall recycling rate has risen from 43% to nearly 56%.
